Friday Evans believes weekends officially start on Thursdays—and she’s willing to fight anyone who says otherwise. Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, she loves to set her stories against distinctly Canadian backdrops, where small towns hide big secrets and snowstorms are basically a supporting character. Fueled by too much coffee and an alarming number of sticky notes, she writes romance, mystery, and thrillers… but never all at once (she tried once, and even her characters got confused).
When she’s not plotting fictional murders or heart-fluttering meet-cutes, she can usually be found people-watching in coffee shops, pretending it’s “research.” Or she is often seen quoting Jane Austen and visiting castles on vacations. She has a soft spot for flawed characters, unexpected endings, and stories that make you laugh right before they make you cry.
If you ever need her, she’s probably somewhere between a cliffhanger, petting a dog and a happy ending.
